We make theater out of the box inside of a box.
Most Tiny Box Theater pieces are for tiny audiences,
just one or a few at a time, for just a few minutes each.
Some are for larger audiences for longer amounts of time.
All invite our audiences to get close, listen carefully, and find themselves a part of the piece.
The Tiny Box experience for both audience and performer
is one that pushes us to reimagine what stories look and sound like,
and to find theatricality in small moments.
We find our boxes or our boxes find us.
The boxes are usually repurposed, portable, and interactive. Some boxes are tinier than others.
Our Tiny Box Theater pieces are ephemeral, and their box life is sometimes unpredictable.
We take our boxes on the road and welcome invitations to perform.
